The Technical Project Manager will be accountable for planning and implementing projects for TDG, taking responsibilities for organizing and controlling specific project elements such as budget, procurement plans and tender from initiation through to delivery. The role requires scoping and creating project plans, developing processes, coordinating and driving execution, and communicating to senior management on status, risks and process/product changes. The ideal candidate needs experience in leading meetings with a variety of technical and non-technical teams, scorecard meetings to manage performance, managing and maintaining project trackers and provide frequent status updates to leadership teams and all the working teams.

Responsibilities
- Technical lead for development operations at client’s sites
- Responsible for process development, documentation, optimization and validation
- Development and implementation of new technologies to improve production quality, capacity and efficiency
- Sets standard practices and independently settles impact to design approaches and parameters to the final product
- Provides direction, mentorship and resources to other engineering groups and project leaders as well as factory technicians
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
- 4+ years of experience working directly with engineering and analytics teams
- 4+ years of technical program management experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
- 4+ years professional experience in software development management/Technical Program Management
- 4+ years of experience in leading software delivery via a team following agile development processes
- Proven track record of leading the delivery of large-scale, high-quality systems
- 2+ years professional experience in hiring and growing people
- Ability to solve complex technical problems and design robust, scalable solutions
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Master’s degree in engineering, science, mathematics or related field
- Professional qualification(s) in project management
- 8+ years of relevant work experience in program, product management or related function
- Experience communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience with Agile or other program management methodologies
- Demonstrated track record of cultivating strong working relationships and driving collaboration across multiple technical and operations teams
- Strong data analysis skills; the ability to run data analysis and synthesize data to make on-point business decisions
